Julie Padberg-White is the President and Owner of FPA Group. After an initial year in Interior Design studies at TCU, Julie graduated from Kansas State
University with a 5-year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, after which she worked for a variety of firms including HOK and Jacob’s Engineering.
FPA Group was created in response to a need Julie identified as she worked in the profession to provide better communication and management throughout the design process between all members of a project team and the excitement of helping manage the process from start to finish. She is passionate about helping facilitate the start of construction projects based on solid project programming and ensuring a collaborative process for the duration of the project.
She has worked on projects ranging from municipal bicycle facility projects, historic renovations, to multi-family developments. She has been responsible for creating project scopes, establishing budgets, reviewing design-build processes, and ensuring project delivery.
With almost 20 years in business, Julie has diverse experience working in architectural design, development, historic renovation, and construction environments. She has been involved in almost every aspect of development, from contract negotiations, community engagement, feasibility studies, historic tax credit preparation and management of complex projects through design, construction oversight, pay application approvals, and property management.
Julie has a passion for revitalizing historic properties and integrating new construction into existing communities. Her passion is balanced with the drive for ensuring that the members of the development and construction teams work hand in hand to deliver an end product that exceeds owner and user expectations.
